Quick Update

I don't have any pictures right now mainly because we haven't yet found the cable for it. We are slowly settling into our newest home. Jeff has been working very long hours and has had little time off (3 days in the first month he was here) so it had made unpacking a bit difficult. We moved into the house one month ago already and we have 2 rooms still boxed up. We're working on it, though, and hope to be fully settled by New Years.

We had a lovely Thanksgiving with Jeff's family. I even got to meet two more of Jeff's cousins who live far away (CA and VA) and don't usually come to family events. It was a bit crazy with 20 people at Jeff's parent's house for dinner, but it was fun.

The kids both went to the doctor last week. Brennan was several weeks late for his 9 month check up (as we went a little over a week before he turned 10 months) and his growth was not as great as I had hoped. He is 16 lbs even and 28 in. tall. That puts him below the charts on weight (3rd percentile or so) and 50th for height. Nora had a check-up as well just so she could get a flu shot. She is 25 lbs and 33 3/4 in tall, both the 25 th percentile. Oddly, both of my children have head circumferences in the 75 th percentile. Maybe that is not so odd after all- they are Jeff's children.

That's what we have been up to in a nutshell. We'll post pictures again, eventually.
